Cary Fukunaga's first public statement on Bond 25

21-Sep-2018 • No Time To Die

In a surprise announcement yesterday, EON Productions confirmed that Cary Joji Fukunaga would helm Bond 25 after Danny Boyle departed the production in July 2018, just five months before cameras were due to roll.

In a brief statement to IndieWire, the new 007 director said “I’ve wanted to do one of these [Bond films] for a long time, so that’s not new. So right now it’s just kind of dealing with the shock that it’s real and the honor obviously and now the responsibility.”
