Christopher Nolan re-emerges as possible Bond 25 director (tabloid)

14-Oct-2017 • No Time To Die

Long-rumoured future James Bond director Christopher Nolan has once again been linked to the next 007 adventure, this time Bond 25.

His name was among the early possible contenders when it was made clear that Sam Mendes would not be returning for a third film. Since then, Denis Villeneuve, Yann Demange, and David Mackenzie have been the favourites to take the job according to the trade press.

Tabloid blog Hollywood Life brought Nolan back to the forefront today with this 'scoop':

“They want to take the franchise in a completely different direction,” the source added. “The producers don’t want him to be the ladies’ man he has been known for and actually want him to get married. Everyone feels Christopher would be the best to steer the film in the direction they are seeking.”

Earlier this year, Nolan's production company Syncopy was linked to the Bond 25 'in development' page on IMDB, but it was swiftly removed when websites started to report it.
