Daniel Craig's work on 'Purity' may not interfere with Bond

11-Aug-2016 • Actor News

Daniel Craig recently signed up to star in a 20-hour television series 'Purity' for Showtime. Many saw that as an indication he was filling up his calendar and assuming he would not be back for a fifth outing as 007.

“It depends when they do the next James Bond movie, but I don’t think it precludes him is the answer,” Showtime CEO David Nevins said at TCA on Thursday according to Deadline. “This [series] will largely be completed during the course of 2017, depending how long they’re willing to wait and shoot the next Bond. There might be some breaks somewhere, but [production] will be fairly continuous.”

'Purity' will begin shooting next year (2017) and will be broadcast in two chunks over the course of two years.
