Bonnie Tyler appeals to 007 producers for Bond 24 gig

14-May-2013 • Spectre (2015)

Singer Bonnie Tyler has made a public pitch to 007 producers that they should consider her to sing the title song for the next adventure, Bond 24.

Tyler is set to fly the flag for the UK in this year's Eurovision contest, which is set to take place in Sweden this weekend, but it seems as if the 'Holding Out For A Hero' hitmaker has bigger fish to fry.

In a new interview with Celebs On Sunday, Tyler confessed that she turned down the chance to perform the song for 1983's rebel James Bond outing "Never Say Never Again". In the end, American singer Lani Hall performed the theme and it failed to chart on either side of the Atlantic.

"I wish they'd ask me again and give me a good song," Tyler said. "I didn't like the song and it was the only one that never became a hit."
