Bond villain Jonathan Pryce joins 'Game of Thrones' cast

At San Diago ComicCon, the "Game of Thrones" producers announced a new set of cast members to be joining their show.

The announcement was via videocast, now available to watch below, and included amongst the cast is Jonathan Pryce. Pryce played the scheming 007 villain and media mogul Eliot Carver in the 1997 Bond adventure, "Tomorrow Never Dies". In the video, each of the new cast members introduces themselves and makes a brief comment about the HBO series. In the series, Pryce will play High Sparrow of the Faith of the Seven.

Said Pryce: "I am very excited to be joining the cast of 'Game of Thrones' with this new and fascinating character."
