Bond smashes through the $100m barrier faster than ever

"Die Another Day" has broken through the $100m US box office target faster than ever before - beating previous record holder "The World Is Not Enough".

The battle continues with Harry Potter at the top of the charts. Although Potter had a more succesfull Sunday, 007 won the battle of the box office this week with total takings of $56.1m compared to "Chamber Of Secrets" which managed to pull in $52.1m (figures taken from Monday 25th november 2002 to Sunday 1st December 2002 inclusive).

With the international box-office also set alight by 007`s latest film, everything points to an all time high takings total in Bond series history.
