`Tomorrow Never Dies` to be released certificate 15 in UK, all previous cuts waived

The British Board of Film Classification has just published a decision on the certificate for the 1997 James Bond film "Tomorrow Never Dies".

When first released in the UK in theatres in 1997 and then video in 1998, six seconds of cuts were made to the film to secure a "12" certificate.

The film has now been reclassified as a "15" for release on the forthcoming Ultimate Edition DVD.

The BBFC announced yesterday that "Tomorrow Never Dies" Widescreen, Ultimate Edition; all previous cuts waived, This work has been approved under the 'Different versions at different categories' policy of January 2004.

The run time for the film is now 114m 18s, up from the 114m 7s version that has been released up until now.
