Draft cover art for Casino Royale movie-tie in novel emerges online

The first draft cover art for the forthcoming "movie tie-in" edition of Ian Fleming's classic 1953 James Bond novel "Casino Royale" has been leaked online.

Following the theme of 2004's Modern Classics covers, the Penguin reissue sports the text "Now a major motion picture" along with a variant of the Casino Royale teaser poster featuring Daniel Craig as 007.



Often, book are given temporary cover art for promotional purposes, which may change several times prior to final release. Sources have informed MI6 that this is not the final cover art that will be used by Penguin.

The new edition of the novel is scheduled for release on 31st October 2006.
