EON shows a private screening of Die Another Day to MI6 HQ

MI6 spies got their own secret screening of the new James Bond film, The Sun can reveal.

And the spooks gave 007 - played by dashing Pierce Brosnan - their official seal of approval.

It was the first such showing for real agents and was offered by the makers of Die Another Day. They used a special cinema deep inside MI6`s London HQ.

Intelligence officers took a brief break from their relentless, round-the-clock war against terrorists to watch the movie.

It includes shots of the exterior of their distinctive office block beside the Thames.

A government security source said: "We don`t want to give the impression valuable time is being wasted on frivolities.

"The producers offered to give us a private showing and it was accepted."

Security expert Chris Dobson said: "Ordinary people are thrilled by Bond’s exploits and now we know MI6 people are too."
