Young Bond `Blood Fever` novel wins Blue Peter Book Award

17-Nov-2006 • Young Bond

Blood Fever has won the Blue Peter Book Award for being, "The book I couldn't put down" in 2006 - reports YoungBond.com.

The news was announced on BBC One's Blue Peter shoiw yesterday, with an exclusive appearance from a surprised and delighted Charlie Higson.

Blood Fever excelled in this tough category, beating on the day: The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips by Michael Morpurgo, and Grk and the Pelotti Gang by Joshua Doder.

This is particularly exciting news, as SilverFin narrowly missed out on the gong last year. Keep it up Charlie - let's hope it's the first many prizes!

Thanks to `Brokenclaw` for the alert.
