Comic strip collection `Polestar` next up from Titan, due November

19-Feb-2008 • Literary

The fifteenth collection of classic James Bond comic strips from Titan Books will be "Polestar".

A listing on Amazon.com confirms the book will be released on 4th November 2008, just a couple of days before "Quantum of Solace" hits theaters around the world.

Based on recent releases, the collection is likely to include "Flittermouse", "Polestar", and perhaps "The Scent Of Danger", all drawn by John McLusky. However, the listing also credits Yaroslav Horak, who came back to the series to draw the last three adventures. This is most likely an error with the listing.

The titular story "Polestar" was abruptly curtailed in its original release in the UK when Daily Star ceased publication of the strip mid-adventure in 1983. It was completed in its entirity in foreign syndication. It will be the first time this adventure has been published in its entirity in English.
