Sideshow comments on likelihood of Daniel Craig action figure

20-Feb-2008 • Collecting

Rumours of a Daniel Craig action figure from Sideshow Collectibles has been ongoing ever since the actor took over the role of James Bond.

But fans hopes were nixed when MI6 reported back in 2006 that Craig had "complained his 007 toy doll looks too moody".

An image of the figure in question was sent in by a source.

Over a year later, Sideshow have officially commented on the situation, and the outlook does not look good for Craig fans and collectors alike.

Answering a question about the Craig figure on the Toy Fair 2008 blog, Sideshow said, "Never say never, but we don’t currently have any plans to release a Daniel Craig 12-inch in the near future."

Meanwhile, Corgi plan to release a line of smaller figures later this year, including Daniel Craig. Click here for the exclusive coverage on MI6.
