Last five comic strip adventures to be collected in upcoming `Polestar` from Titan

12-Apr-2008 • Literary

The fifteenth collection of classic James Bond comic strips from Titan Books will be "Polestar".

A listing on Amazon.com confirms the book will be released on 4th November 2008, just a couple of days before "Quantum of Solace" hits theaters around the world.

The listing credits both artists John McLusky and Yaroslav Horak, who came back to the series to draw the last three adventures. Titan have confirmed that the collection will include last five strip adventures in the newspaper series: Flittermouse, Polestar, The Scent Of Danger, Snake Goddess and Double Eagle.

The titular story "Polestar" was abruptly curtailed in its original release in the UK when Daily Star ceased publication of the strip mid-adventure in 1983. It was completed in its entirity in foreign syndication. It will be the first time this adventure has been published in its entirity in English.

The last three adventures were never published in the UK, and were only seen in foreign syndications.
