Activision launches online campaign for 007 videogame

27-Oct-2008 • Gaming

Activision has launched a week-long campaign across Future Publishing's GamesRadar Network and TotalFilm.com website to push its Quantum of Solace video game, reports MAD.

The content-led campaign will see new exclusive content released each day, including screenshots, behind-the-scenes information and competitions with the chance to win the game. The campaign lasts seven days charting the run-up to the film release at the end of this week.

The deal was brokered directly with Activision, the games publisher, with the campaign designed and created in-house by Future's digital team.

Based on the movie, Quantum of Solace is the first 007 game created under a publishing deal between Eon Games and Activision and marks Daniel Craig's video game debut - lending his voice and likeness to the in-game Bond.

In the past three months, Future has created campaigns for Mercedes, Range Rover Sport and a Europe-wide Dark Knight campaign for Maxell Europe.
