Another store listing outs 'Bloodstone' as next 007 videogame, Nintendo DS added

28-Jun-2010 • Gaming

Back in April, high-street retailer HMV posted a listing for a "James Bond: Bloodstone" videogame on Xbox 360 and PS3. The leak caused Activision to swiftly register the 'bloodstonegame.com' domain name the same day.

After suffering another leak ahead of the planned unveiling (similar to the lack of surprise surrounding GoldenEye's announcement at E3 earlier this month), Activision have another retailer to thank for the latest confirmation of their release schedule.

GameFly have listed "James Bond: Bloodstone" for the Xbox 360 and PS3 with a release date of November 2nd 2010. No further information was made available.

The under-wraps game has been repeatedly delayed, but was expected to finally hit shelves late this year.

Interestingly, GameFly also list the game for Nintendo's DS handheld platform. This is the first time the DS has been linked to the 'Bloodstone' title, which is expected to be a racing-centric adventure set in the third-person.

As online pre-order listings are often inaccurate, there is no guarantee Activision are developing "Bloodstone" for the Nintendo DS platform. Their other James Bond videogame, the re-imagined version of "GoldenEye" for Nintendo Wii, is widely expected to be announced for the DS shortly.

The newly redesigned 007.com has a placeholder for the next Bond game, indicating that an official "Bloodstone" announcement may be imminent.
