'Top Trumps 007 The Best of Bond' coming to mobile phones this year

09-Mar-2011 • Gaming

Connect2Media have teamed up with Winning Moves, a leading innovator of games products, to bring ‘Top Trumps’ classic licences to mobile phones. The first game features James Bond, the longest running film franchise in cinema history.

‘Top Trumps 007 The Best of Bond’ will be released later this month on handsets worldwide. The game includes an array of iconic ‘Bond’ characters, making it the world's coolest card game and the definitive 007 mobile experience. From Sean Connery to Daniel Craig, from Blofeld to Goldfinger, this Top Trumps pack includes all the ‘Bond’ favourites. Pit character against character and grab as many cards as you can in this easy to play and compelling Top Trumps format.

Game features:

· Two game types – Classic Top Trumps or Tournament Top Trumps (with six different play styles).

· Single or two-player via Bluetooth (only one game download required).

· Each of the 30 cards include details about the classic characters from Goldfinger and Jaws to Pussy Galore and Miss Moneypenny.

· The game covers every official Bond movie ever made from “Dr No” (1962) right through to “Quantum of Solace” (2008).

“Top Trumps 007 The Best of Bond throws together two much loved brands”. Said Stephen Hey, Marketing Manager, Connect2Media. “If you are a Bond fan then you will love getting closer to your favourite characters and interacting with them through the timeless Top Trumps format”.

Mark Hauser, Commercial & Licensing Manager for Winning Moves, said “Bond is one of our most popular properties and works perfectly as a Top Trumps game. The mobile version is bound to appeal across the board as the Bond franchise is as strong today as it was in 1962 when the first movie hit the big screen”.

MI6 understands that the game will be available for Java-enabled and Android platforms on launch.
