Norway locations full steam ahead and brief scene revealed (spoilers)

27-Feb-2019 • No Time To Die

According to reports, locations in Norway are being readied for Bond 25 filming in March.

After last month's news that Bond 25 was offered a grant to film in Norway, preparations are underway to clear filming with local authorities and construct sets ahead of a proposed March location shoot.

According to the local press EON's agent in the Nordic country, Truenorth, is applying for permits and possibly already constructing sets. The production is expected to shoot in Nittedal, about 18 miles north of Oslo, and nearby Romerike.

Construction of a brand new building in Langvann, Nordmarka, on the border between Oslo and Nittedal is underway; when completed it is expected to be used as part of a scene in the 25th James Bond film directed by Cary Fukunga.

As part of the process of receiving a permit and notifying locals, a brief synopsis of one scene planned for filming on location was revealed: A child shoots an intruder. She is chased by a 2nd intruder and runs onto a frozen lake.

After the Norwegian press got wind of the application, a representative of Truenorth, whose name was on the application pleaded ignorant, saying "I do not know that application".
