A few days ago, Lotus implied that they may make a play for 007 as the company claimed Aston Martin did not have any product placement contract in place for Bond 25.
Whilst doing the media tour of their first day as a publicly traded company, Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer disputed Lotus' claim. "I can confirm that Aston Martin will be collaborating in the next chapter of Bond. So, read from that what you will," he told CNN.
He did not say that 007 himself would be driving a new Aston Martin in the film, leaving some to speculate that a deal as not been fully ironed out.
