Back to Norway next month for more Bond 25 shooting

14-May-2019 • No Time To Die

The Bond 25 production team will be heading back to Norway in June. Some scenes were captured in the country prior to the official start of principal photography due to an ice lake that would have melted had they waited any longer.

Nordmøre, in the northern third of Norway, will host 007 according to local press. One helicopter company has sought to close off the airspace over the Atlantic Road to film between June 4th and 15th and stated James Bond on their application.

Bond 25 has been awarded an incentive grant of NOK 47 million ($5.3m USD) to shoot in the country, the largest amount ever approved by the nation.

NRK claims that Bond 25 will probably be recorded in coastal municipalities of Rauma and Romsdal. The area around Åndalsnes is known for very pointed mountains and steep valleys. The area is also known for being a renowned city for base jumping and rock climbing.
