'Barbie' director busy but interested in Bond

Every director attending a junket over the next couple of years is bound to be asked this question: Would you be interested in helming the next James Bond film?

'Barbie' director Greta Gerwig was the latest to face the common inquiry, but with the twist that she would be the first female to head a film in its 25-film run so far.

 “Oh, my God. We’re going to just stick with some lions and some dolls for the moment. But you never know. I really like Barbara Broccoli, so…”

Gerwig is slated to direct new adaptations of The Chronicles of Narnia books by C.S. Lewis which may keep her busy for several years.
