Director Matthew Vaughn explains why he may be ruled out

British director Matthew Vaughn, who has headed up the 'Kingsman' franchise and has just wrapped spy-fi movie 'Argyle' with Henry Cavill has talked about why he may not be a contender for the job of Bond 26 despite his credentials.
“I don’t think the Bond people would touch me with a stick,” he said. “I don’t think- They don’t like me. I don’t know. You know, to be blunt. I love Bond. It’s obviously a huge influence on me… You wait till you see Argyle.“
Despite this, rumour-mill website GFR has touted Vaughn as the top choice for the job, possibly reuniting with Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The pair worked together on 'Kick-Ass'.
