Lupita Nyong'o out of Bond 25 contention

04-Mar-2019 • No Time To Die

As MI6 reported in late February, Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o had been linked with a possible Bond Girl role for the 25th adventure.

According to Deadline, she is now out of the running: "her team is now telling me it won’t work out with her."

Word that the Mexican-born actress, famous for her roles in 'Star Wars,' '12 Years A Slave,' and 'Black Panther,' was linked to Bond 25 did not set the fan community alight.

There are two lead female roles up for grabs in the film, in addition to the return of Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann from 2015's SPECTRE.
