Pierce Brosnan could face jail for Yellowstone infraction

Pierce Brosnan has been slapped with two charges by the U.S. District Court in Wyoming for "foot travel in a thermal area" and a "closure violation" after allegedly entering a restricted area of Yellowstone National Park on November 1st, according to The Sun.
He was in the area filming 'Unholy Trinity' with Samuel L. Jackson when the infraction is alleged to have occurred.
Brosnan has yet to enter a plea for the hearing scheduled for January 23rd, 2024 in Wyoming.
The consequences for ignoring the restrictions at Yellowstone can be up to six months in jail or a fine of up to $5,000. Recently, a woman from Connecticut was held in jail for seven days and fined $2,000 for veering off the designated path to walk toward the thermal area.
