The second and final day of location filming on the Atlantic Ocean Road in Norway took place today, and a new vehicle joined the action.
Stand-ins for a man and a woman driving an older Toyota Land Cruiser were filmed being followed by two modern-day Range Rovers. These were the same Range Rovers that were filmed following Bond in the Aston Martin V8 Vantage along the road yesterday.
More shots with the Aston were filmed today with the driver wearing dots on his face for use in visual effects later, enabling digital face swapping with Daniel Craig who is recovering from ankle surgery. The man and woman driving the Toyota also sported the black dots, so they will also be digitally replaced by principal cast members in post-production. A children's doll was spotted in the back seat, which may belong to a girl seen in the very first Bond 25 footage shot in Norway back in March. It is not known who the characters are.
TrueNorth line producer Per Henry Borch told local media: "We have had some fantastic days of recording, and everyone is very excited about what we have been filmed. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the county municipality, as well as residents for the loan from the Atlantic Road. The Norwegian and English recording team have been very well received. Everyone looks forward to showing the final result when the film premieres in April 2020."
Filming now moves to the region of Åndalsnes until June 14th, 2019.
